SLUDGE TRUCK
The Mayor and Commissioners of Emmitsburg, Maryland are requesting sealed bids for the sale of a 1987 International Jet Vac Truck. Sealed proposals are due by 4:00 p.m. on August 31, 2026.  Please see “Submittal Requirements” on how to submit your bid.
All bids must meet and/or exceed the requirements contained herein: The sale and transfer of this motor vehicle is made on an “AS IS” basis, without any express or implied warranties, with no recourse to the Town, provided that the Town can issue proof that it has title to the property without any liens or encumbrances. The form of payment used must be cash, money order or cashier’s check. Sales tax will be included as part of the purchase price. The International Jet Vac Truck. The winning bidder will have ninety (90) days to remove the markings. The truck will be parked by the gate at the Wastewater Treatment Plant located at, 16707 Creamery Road, Emmitsburg MD, 21727. We can accommodate pick-up times between 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
