NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS
Sealed proposals, addressed to the Purchasing Agent, Development Services Office-1st Floor,
City Center, 16 Cony Street, Augusta, Maine 04330, and endorsed on the outside of the envelope
with the name of the Bidder, Contractor Name and Bid Number #226039 will be received by the
Purchasing Agent until 2:30pm o’clock (prevailing time) on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at which
time they will be publicly opened and read. Telephone, telegraph, or facsimile Bids will not be
accepted. No Bids will be accepted after the above stated time and date.

The City of Augusta is accepting proposals for a qualified contractor to provide
masonry repairs at City Hall. The selected contractor shall provide services described in
the scope of work located within this RFSB. The City expects that all Contractors
bidding on this RFSB will possess the knowledge, tools, and equipment necessary to
perform the services requested in this RFSB, to do so to industry standards,
manufacturers recommendations, and any and all applicable law, rules, regulations, and
codes related to this type of project.
The plans, specifications and proposal forms may be obtained at the Department of Development
Services, City Center, 16 Cony Street, Augusta, ME. Bid documents are available beginning on
Thursday, May 14, 2026 on the Development Services Office-1st Floor at (207) 626-2365 and on
the city website.
The City encourages women and minority-owned businesses to submit Bids.
