The purpose of this request is to solicit proposals for architectural and engineering services for the Schematic Design of a new Dairy Farm complex at the University of Delaware’s (UD) 350-acre agricultural campus in Newark, DE. The intent is to demolish the University’s existing Dairy facility currently in operation and replace it with a modernized facility that will enable research, teaching, and workforce development. The new dairy complex will act as more than a traditional agricultural production facility; it must support the interconnected missions of a small-scale dairy operation, support hands-on learning, innovative scientific research, and agricultural outreach, while prioritize animal welfare and biosecurity.
