CITY OF LEWISTON ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS


PROJECT TITLE: Transfer Station Floor Replacement IFB-26-016 (TS002)

Separate sealed BIDS for the above project located in Lewiston, Idaho, will be received by Purchasing Division, City of Lewiston at 1134 “F” Street, Lewiston, Idaho 83501, until 2:00 p.m. PDT on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The work involves removal and replacement of a concrete tipping floor and tie-beams, rehabilitating pushwalls, and miscellaneous repairs.

The City of Lewiston complies with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and 49 CFR Part 26 and ensures nondiscrimination in the award of federally assisted contracts. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) are afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, or disability.

All bids must be signed and accompanied by evidence of authority to sign.  Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal.  Said bid security shall be forfeited to the City of Lewiston as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders.

City of Lewiston reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received.
