Amendment #1 - Issue Date: May 21, 2026

The Library has included a second project walk through. This will occur on Tuesday, May 26 at 7:30 a.m. at the Daniel Boone Branch, 300 Clarkson Rd., Ellisville, MO 63011. Proposers are invited to attend to examine existing conditions and take field measurements.

The Board of Trustees of the St. Louis County Library District (“Library District”) is accepting proposals (“Proposal” or “Proposals”) pursuant to this Request for Proposals from qualified Proposers for providing elevator renovation services for the staff elevator at Daniel Boone Branch. (the “Project”).

See the attached design directive, existing drawings, and specifications marked Attachment “1”, Attachment “2”, and Attachment “3”. Proposers are responsible for examination of all drawings, specifications, schedules and instructions for the Project.

The Library has extended the due date for all Proposal responses. All Proposals are due no later than 2:00 pm on May 28, 2026.

All proposers are invited to attend a pre-proposal meeting at the Daniel Boone Branch, 300 Clarkson Rd., Ellisville, MO 63011, on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at 7:30 am to examine existing conditions and take field measurements.

Proposers shall complete the Proposal as required in this Request for Proposals and deliver the completed Proposal by email only to Kelli Reeves, kreeves@slcl.org . The email subject line should be “Request for Proposals – Daniel Boone staff elevator renovation.”

To protect the integrity of the Proposal selection process, any questions concerning this Request for Proposals, the Proposal process or Proposal specifications shall be emailed only to Kelli Reeves at kreeves@slcl.org . in accordance with this Request for Proposals.

It is anticipated that the Proposals will be considered by the Library District’s Board of Trustees at the June 15, 2026 meeting after consideration by the Selection Committee and recommendation to the Director.
