The mission of the County Cable Montgomery channel is to:
Expand and enhance public participation in the governmental process by broadcasting meetings of governmental bodies, public hearings, and news
conferences.
Creating and presenting programs that increase awareness among residents, businesses and visitors about the County government, its organizations, commissions, agencies, decision-making processes, events and programs.
Facilitate two-way communication between residents, businesses, visitors and County government officials.
Expand and enhance residents’ access to County programs and services by delivering comprehensive information through cable television and other media
platforms.
Enhance emergency communications throughout the County.
Sharing information about Montgomery County Government services; the operations of the Executive and Legislative branches; and topics beneficial to County
residents, visitors and businesses.
Additionally, CCM provides timely and accurate notices including emergency alerts, live traffic reports, government and school closings, recreation center closures,
Ride-On bus delays, and program cancellations.
It is the intent of the County to award one (1) contract as a result of this solicitation.
