The City of Grove City, through the City Administrator, will receive sealed bids for the Babbert Way Storm Sewer and Pickleball Court Improvements project via Bid Express until 11:00 a.m. local time on August 14, 2026, and at that time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud. Grove City will neither open nor accept bids received after that time. Subject to the right of Grove City to reject any or all bids, Grove City will award contracts to the bidder(s) submitting the lowest and best bid(s). The work for which Grove City is inviting bids consists of the following:

Base Bid
•        Includes approximately 1,600 square yards of pickleball court resurfacing, approximately 600 linear feet of 12-inch to 24-inch storm sewer pipe, approximately 1,000 linear feet of fence removal and replacement, over 350 linear feet of underdrain, landscaping, and other related work.

Additional Bid 1
•        Fence Reuse: Reuse existing 10’ and 42” fencing materials.

The estimated costs of construction for the work outlined in the plans and specifications for the various bids are:

Base Bid: $625,000
Additional Bid 1: -$47,000

Schedule: The work shall commence within sixty (60) calendar days after the City issues the Notice to Proceed for the Contract. The work shall be completed within ninety (90) calendar days from the City’s issuance of the Notice to Proceed for the Contract.
