ADDENDUM #2 – VARIOUS PARKS PAVILION REPAIR
To: All Interested Quoters
Quoters are hereby notified that this Addendum shall be made a part of the documents. The following is issued to modify, and/or
clarify the proposal and contract documents. These items shall have the same force and effect as the original Quote and contract
documents, and submitted Quotes on the specified date shall conform with the additions, deletions and revisions as listed herein.
Item #1 - DUE DATE EXTENSION: The quote opening is hereby changed to August 7, 2026, at 3:00 PM EST.
Item #2 - QUESTIONS/ANSWERS:
Q1: Is there vehicle access to all pavilions?
A1: Yes. Vehicle access is available to all pavilion locations. A temporary Fire Station is located near the pavilions at
Randy Spence Park; however, it will not impede contractor access.
Q2: Will newly installed wood require painting, staining, or sealing?
A2: Unpainted wood pavilions do not require staining or sealing. Painted wood shall be repainted by the Contractor
using a blue paint selected by the Contractor to closely match the existing color.
Q3: Is the scope of work the same for both pavilions at Randy Spence Park?
A3: Yes. The scope of work applies to both adjacent pavilions. The only exception is that one pavilion requires
replacement of a broken light fixture.
Q4: Some roof panels are tarnished, discolored, or lifted by wind. Must these panels be replaced?
A4: No. Existing roof panels (including Tongue-and-Groove decking, where applicable) shall be salvaged and
resecured with screws unless they are warped, deteriorated, damaged, or otherwise unsuitable for reuse such that
reinstallation would compromise the roof's performance, including water intrusion or structural deficiencies.
Q5: Must existing weathered roofing materials be refinished or replaced to match newly installed materials?
A5: No. Variations in color and appearance between existing and new roofing materials are acceptable.
Q6: The Tringali Park scope specifies replacement of 2×4 plywood sheathing, but the existing roof consists of 2×6 Tongue-
and-Groove decking. Which material should be installed?
A6: Replace in kind. Structures with existing Tongue-and-Groove decking shall be repaired or replaced with
matching Tongue-and-Groove material.
This addendum is binding and is to be considered as if contained within the original documents of Quote No. 20260496.
Quoters are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their quote forms. All other terms and conditions of the original
quote and contract documents remail the same.
