Project Description: The purpose of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to establish one or more contracts for the purchase and delivery of pavement marking materials and related products for use by the Charlotte Department of Transportation (CDOT).
CDOT maintains approximately 5,400 lane miles of city streets, including pavement markings such as center lines, lane lines, edge lines, crosswalks, stop bars, and pavement legends. The materials provided under this contract will support the installation and maintenance of these markings to guide motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians.
All materials furnished under the resulting contract shall be new and shall meet the requirements of Section 1087 – Pavement Markings of the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) 2024 Standard Specifications.
