Project Description: The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS), a department of the City of Charlotte, is seeking proposals from qualified, experienced, and properly licensed contractors to provide systemwide bus stop amenities installation services in support of CATS' multi-phase capital program for bus stop improvements.
The selected Contractor(s) will provide the labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, traffic control, site protection, permitting support, coordination, and other services necessary to assemble, deliver, install, modify, repair, and/or replace bus stop amenities at locations throughout the CATS bus service network.
The program is intended to improve the safety, accessibility, functionality, appearance, and overall customer experience of CATS bus stops. Work may include improvements at existing bus stops as well as new or relocated stops associated with service expansion, development, transit projects, and capital improvements.
Bus stop improvement locations may be located within the City of Charlotte and throughout Mecklenburg County, including municipalities and jurisdictions served by CATS.
