WSU Tech NCAT Expansion Project – Furniture Bid Package
READ THIS REQUEST CAREFULLY
Tessere is issuing this Invitation to Bid for the furniture scope of work for WSU Tech
NCAT Expansion project. This bid package is intended for qualified furniture dealerships and
includes furniture procurement only. This project is anticipated to be installed in the fourth quarter
of 2026.
Furniture Bid Scope
The Furniture scope includes Furniture and related accessories as detailed in the
attached documents, including seating, tables, systems Furniture, private office Furniture,
storage, and ancillary furnishings.
Bids are divided into five (5) separate Bid Groups. Bidders may submit proposals for any
or all Bid Groups. Each Bid Group shall be bid in its entirety. Failure to do so shall render
the affected Bid Group nonresponsive.
Bid Schedule
- Bid Package Issued by WSU Tech & Tessere: May 4, 2026
- Alternates Due to Tessere: Submit digitally by EOD Fri., May 15
- Questions from Bidders to Tessere (Addendum Items): Due by EOD Mon., May 25
- Client Review of Alternates: Digital approval or in-person demo piece, if requested by the Client
Mon., May 18 – EOD Fri., June 5
- Notification to Bidders of Acceptable Alternates & Addendum Items: Thurs., June 11 – EOD
- Final Bid Proposals Due: Submit electronically to Tessere by EOD Mon., June 29, 2026

1. GENERAL
WSU Tech invites bids for the furnishing, delivery, and installation of Furniture and
accessories as described in this Bid Package.
Procurement shall be conducted in accordance with WSU Tech Purchasing Policies,
applicable Kansas Board of Regents guidelines, and all other governing regulations
applicable to public institutions of higher education.
2. BID DOCUMENTS AND ATTACHMENTS
The Bid Documents include the Pricing Spreadsheet, individual product specification sheets,
and Furniture drawing sheets illustrating layouts, callouts, images, finish selections, and
quantities.
3. BID STRUCTURE
This Bid is divided into five (5) distinct Bid Groups.
Bidders may submit bids on one (1) Group, multiple Groups, or all Bid Groups. Each Bid
Group shall be bid in its entirety. Failure to do so shall render the affected Bid Group
nonresponsive.
4. LINE-ITEM PRICING
Unit prices shall include product, freight, delivery, installation, and coordination. Tax
exempt certificate to be provided to the awarded Vendor/Vendors
5. STATE CONTRACT / GOP PRICING
Where applicable, pricing shall be based on State of Kansas Contract (GOP) pricing
available to WSU Tech.
6. ADDENDA
Addenda shall become part of the Bid Documents and must be acknowledged.
7. ALTERNATES AND SUBSTITUTIONS
Proposed alternates may be submitted within two (2) weeks of bid issuance and require
written Owner approval.
8. BID VALIDITY
All bids shall remain firm for ninety (90) calendar days from the final bid due date.
9. OWNER’S RIGHTS
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and award in its best interest.
