This bid includes the following Work:

Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) improvements consisting of, but not limited to, the conversion of existing fan wall systems, renewal of the kitchen make-up air ventilation system, and the replacement of a cooling unit for the Sheriff's Electronics room at the Johnson County Olathe Adult Detention Center.  The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, permits, and incidentals necessary or required to fully complete the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit will be held at 8:00AM CT on June 16, 2026, at the Johnson County Olathe Detention Center Central Booking located at 101 N. Kansas Avenue, Olathe, Kansas 66061.  Bidders will be escorted into the facility, and all general contraband must be secured in the lockers provided prior to entry.  Late arrivals will not be permitted.  The meeting is expected to last approximately 90 minutes and will include access to all relevant areas. Representation is required by General Contractors/Prime Contractors to be eligible to submit a bid.

Technical questions and requests for clarification shall be submitted via IonWave no later than 5:00PM CT on June 25, 2026, to allow adequate time to issue an addendum, if needed.
