The City of Belleville, Illinois, is seeking proposals from qualified firms with demonstrated

experience in urban forestry, tree inventory data collection, and urban forest management plan (UFMP) development.

The purpose of this Request For Proposals (RFP) is to solicit and evaluate qualified contractors to:

  • Complete a comprehensive citywide tree inventory of approximately 26,000 public trees on streets, right-of-ways, parks, and public properties;
  • Develop an Urban Forest Management Plan (UFMP) based on the completed inventory; and
  • Purchase and plant approximately 200 native trees in disadvantaged census tracts within Belleville.
