The Town of Warren, Rhode Island, is requesting sealed proposals from qualified and properly licensed HVAC contractors for the furnishing and installation of a new approximately five-ton Samsung variable-refrigerant-flow/heat-pump system, or approved equivalent, serving the MCC Room at the Town’s Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 427 Water Street, Warren, Rhode Island.

The work shall include all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, tools, rigging, refrigerant piping, condensate drainage, controls, testing, startup, commissioning, cleanup, and incidental work necessary to provide a complete and properly operating HVAC system.

The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, containment, surface-preparation equipment, coatings, safety equipment, transportation, disposal, and incidental items necessary to provide a complete and properly executed coating system.

All public works projects funded with more than $1,000, including repair and modification of public buildings, are subject to Rhode Island prevailing wage laws. Contractors and subcontractors must adhere to Rhode Island General Laws Chapter 37-13 and all related requirements set forth by the Department of Labor and Training.

Sealed proposals will be received by the Town of Warren, Rhode Island, in the office of the Town Clerk, 514 Main Street, until 11:00 am on Thursday October 1, 2026, after which time they will be publicly opened and read in the Town Clerks Office, 1st Floor of the Town Hall Building (514 Main Street, Warren, RI).

The Town reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive formalities, and award the contract in the best interest of the Town.
