The West Virginia Parkways Authority hereby provides notice of its intent to award a contract on a direct/sole-source basis to A & A Safety, Inc for Ver-Mac Truck Mount Messageboards and Bed Floor Racks.

The Authority's current truck fleet is equipped with and operates using the Ver-Mac Message Board Systems through A & A Safety, Inc. Standardization and compatibility with the existing fleet are necessary to maintain continuity of operations, ensure interoperability among vehicles and equipment, minimize training and maintenance requirements and avoid interruption of services.

Any vendor who believes it can provide products that fully comply with the attached specifications and are completely compatible with the Authority's existing A & A Safety (Ver-Mac) systems must submit written notification, together with sufficient technical documentation, demonstrating its ability to meet all requirements without modification to the existing fleet or interruption of service.
