Notice is hereby given that the Executive Director of the Harrison County Utility Authority will receive bids
at 10271 Express Drive, Gulfport, MS, in the Board Meeting Room, until 10:00 a.m., June 1, 2026. Then, at said office, bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately following the submittal deadline. It is strongly encouraged that any interested parties attend the pre-bid meeting being held at 13762 Washington Ave. Gulfport, MS, at 10:00 a.m., May 22, 2026. There will be a site visit for all prospective bidders and suppliers. Scope of Work: Provide all labor and equipment needed to remove and dispose of Anaerobic sludge from one digester located at the South Gulfport Wastewater Treatment Facility at 13762 Washington Ave., Gulfport, MS 39507. The digester is 54 feet in diameter with a total depth of 31 feet. The contractor will cooperate with the plant manager in continuing plant operation while this work proceeds. This project will be classified as Confined Space and all OSCA requirements will have to be followed. Two (2) digesters will remain in operation while the contractor is removing the sludge from one digester. |
