ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID
The Owner, Lincoln County Board of Supervisors, will receive sealed bids for Lincoln County
Courthouse Renovation Bid Package 1 at the Lincoln County Board of Supervisors, Board
Room, 301 South First St., Brookhaven, MS 39601 until 10:00 a.m. CST on June 12, 2026, with
bids then publicly opened and read aloud.
Contract Documents are available for viewing and obtaining at
www.waycasterdunganplanroom.com. Documents are non-refundable and must be purchased
through the website to be on the official plan holders list. For questions regarding website
accessibility or obtaining bid documents, please contact Plan House Bidding at 662-407-0193.
Bid preparation and submittal will be in accordance with Section 00 21 13 Instructions to
Bidders bound in the Project Manual. Bid Bond Security/Guarantee in the amount of 5% of total
bid will be required in Contracts exceeding $25,000.00. 100% Performance and Payment Bond
will be required. Licensing and other certification of qualifications will be required as specified
in the contract documents. Where applicable, the foregoing certificate number must be indicated
on the exterior of the sealed bid envelope before it will be opened.
State law requires a non-resident bidder to attach/include a copy of his resident state’s current
law pertaining to such state’s treatment of non-resident contractors with their bid. Any bid
submitted by a non-resident contractor which does not include the non-resident contractor’s
current state law shall be rejected and not considered for award.
All bids submitted must comply with all applicable sections of the Mississippi Code of 1972,
Annotated.
Bids may be withheld by the Owner for a period not to exceed forty-five (45) days from the date
of the opening of the bids for the purpose of bid review and investigation of the bidder's
qualifications, prior to award of the contract.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive any irregularities in the
bidding procedure without obligation to or notification of any bidders.
