LEGAL SERVICES. The Rum River Fire District is accepting proposals to retain the law firm or attorney determined to be best qualified to meet the District’s needs. The Rum River Fire District is seeking legal counsel that has depth and breadth of experience in Minnesota local government and joint powers law, has experience in representing fire departments and/or districts, public safety organizations, or similar public entities, and strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with a governing board, Fire Chief, fiscal agent, and member-city representatives.
