City of Bentonville (Owner)
is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
NW TIGER BLVD AND NW G STREET STORMWATER IMPROVEMENTS
IFB 26-56
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at Olsson, located at 3537 N Steele Blvd., Ste 310, Fayetteville, Arkansas 72703, until Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at 10:00 am, local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work:
The work consists of furnishing and installing approximately 1,350 linear feet of storm sewer, including required junction boxes and storm inlets. The project also includes traffic control and erosion control measures, demolition and tree removal, and the installation of curb and gutter, pavement, driveways, and sidewalks necessary to restore disturbed areas. Additional work includes the relocation of an existing water line.Questions regarding Bids must be submitted via written communication only and directed to Lee Beshoner, PE, at lbeshoner@olsson.com .
Bidding Documents and Plans must be obtained by contacting Olsson, Inc., 3537 N Steele Blvd., Ste 310, Fayetteville, Arkansas 72703. These documents are available from the Engineer electronically in pdf format at no fee.
All contractors intending on bidding SHALL register as a plan holder by notifying Kimberly Erstine, Project Administrator, via e-mail at kerstine@olsson,com. When registering as a plan holder, contractors shall submit primary contact information including name of contractor, primary contact, phone number, and physical address. FAILURE TO REGISTER AS A PLAN HOLDER MAY RESULT IN YOUR BID BEING REJECTED.
All bids shall be sealed and the envelopes addressed to Lee Beshoner, Olsson, 3537 N. Steele Blvd, Ste 310, Fayetteville, Arkansas 72703. All bids shall be plainly marked on the outside of the envelope specifying that it is a bid for construction of the NW TIGER BLVD AND NW G STREET STORMWATER IMPROVEMENTS, the time for opening of bids, and the name and current contractor’s license number of the bidder.
The contractors shall make such inspection and studies of the site of the work as to familiarize themselves with all conditions to be encountered.
Pre-bid Conference
A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at 10:00 am, local time, at Olsson, 3537 N Steele Blvd., Ste 310, Fayetteville, Arkansas 72703. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. The check(s) or bond(s) shall be made payable to City of Bentonville as security that the bidder(s) to whom the award(s) are made will enter into contract to build the improvements bid upon and furnish the required bonds and insurance.
All bidders must be licensed under the terms of the Arkansas State Licensing Law for Contractors, A.C.A.17-25-1-1, et seq. All bidders must also comply with the Rules and Regulations of the Contractors Licensing and Bond Law, Arkansas Administrative Rules 224-25-1, et seq.
Pursuant to Arkansas Code Annotated 22-9-203, the Owner encourages all qualified small business enterprises and veteran-owned business enterprises to bid on and receive contracts for goods, services and construction.
The City of Bentonville reserves the right to accept any bid which it deems most advantageous to the owner, and to reject any or all bids submitted and to hold as many bids as it desires for consideration and to waive any informalities in the proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Bentonville. The City of Bentonville further reserves the right to withhold the awarding of the contract for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days after the receipt of bids.
