ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The City of Searcy is accepting sealed bids for construction of RODGERS PARK until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at the City of Searcy, Arkansas, 401 W. Arch, Searcy, Arkansas 72143, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The project consists of a new one-acre, downtown park with walking paths, a fountain, landscaping, parking, and associated earthwork and utilities. All proposals shall be on the forms within the specifications and shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the “ City of Searcy, Arkansas, 401 W. Arch, Searcy, Arkansas 72143,” and marked “Proposal for City of Searcy – Rodgers Park.”
The City reserves the right to reduce the total amount of work to be done as required by budget restraints. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and to accept the proposal deemed to be for the best interest.
Prospective Bidders may obtain Contract Documents from Southern Reprographics, 901 W. 7th Street, Little Rock, AR 72201, Phone: 501-372-4011. Plans are available digitally at www.sriplanroom.com . For more information, contact Davidson Engineering, Phone: 501-388-2178, email: bear@davidsonengineers.com . Contract Documents are also available at the Engineer’s office upon request.
Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than those listed above.
Proposals will be considered on the basis of cost, the bidder’s financial responsibility, his equipment, and his past performance on similar projects. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
