Solicitation Description:

BID NOTICE

The City of San Marcos is soliciting sealed bids for:

Solicitation Number: IFB# 2026-050, Pavement Repair Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ)

Project Scope: Scope of this work includes, but is not limited to, the repair, rehabilitation, and reconstruction of city streets and related roadway infrastructure, including asphalt and concrete pavement, sidewalks, and pavement markings, as identifiedby the Owner. Work may include milling, base repair, hot mixed asphalt concrete (HMAC) preparation and application, cold patch repair, concrete flatwork, and other associated pavement maintenance activities. Work will be executed using multiple IDIQ Work Orders, as necessary, in accordance with contract plans and specifications requirements. The total construction volume is estimated to be $1,000,000.00 annually.

Bidders must submit a cashier’s check, certified check, or acceptable bid bond with their bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the City's estimated annual expenditure of $1,000,000.00.

A non-mandatory pre-bid video conference for this Project will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 2:00PM, Local Time via video conferencing. TheTeams meeting link information is included in the solicitation.

Sealed bids must be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building 3, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX 78666, no later than Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 2:00 P.M., Local Time, and the bid opening will be conducted via video conference. The Teams meeting link information is included in the solicitation.

Award is tentatively scheduled for the Tuesday, October 20, 2026, City Council meeting, at 6:00 PM, or any subsequent time unless otherwise rescheduled.
