Bid Description:
Replacement of an existing water main line along Elm Street in Woodstock, Vermont. Specifically, the work will include trenching, removal of the existing asphalt and subbase, installation of water main, thrust blocks, valves, securing below the existing bridge structure, installation of roadway base and pavement patch and associated site work in accordance with the contract plans and specifications. All work outside of the bridge will be completed as night work. Alternate 1 includes sandblasting, cleaning, and painting of the bridge.

A mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at 10:00am at the Historic Elm Street Bridge near the intersection of Elm Street and River Street, in the Town of Woodstock, Vermont. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that do not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference.
