| Description: | The City of La Crosse, Wisconsin is issuing a request for proposals (RFP) for exclusive residential refuse and recycling services including collection, hauling, and proper disposal, to begin January 1, 2028. Any contractor desiring to furnish a proposal for such services shall submit proposals following the instructions and format of this RFP document. Currently, the City contracts for weekly refuse and every-other-week recycling services. Additionally, the proposed service includes large item and appliance disposal services. Any improvements proposed to the services offered will be considered. Improvements are not limited to the collection of additional recyclables, or other such changes which, if proposed, are to be included as additional proposals. All proposals shall be valid for at least 90 days from the date of the bid opening. A completed BIDDER’S PROOF OF RESPONSIBILITY AND PREQUALIFICATION must be on file with the City prior to submitting a proposal. |
