Project Description: Reading Housing Authority (RHA) will receive Multiple Prime sealed bids for the improvements and renovations of the Oakbrook Center for Early Education, located at 1000 Patton Ave. until 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, on www.pennbid.net at which time all bids will be publicly opened on www.pennbid.net. Bids received after this time will not be considered. Bids shall be submitted on the basis of a stipulated sum. Bids will be received for separate General Construction, Plumbing Construction and Electrical Construction Contracts. The Owner also reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids for any reason or reasons whatsoever.
On Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 10:00 A.M., RHA will conduct an on-site pre-bid conference at the Willis Center for Administration, located at 400 Hancock Blvd., Reading, Pa 19611. All interested bidders are encouraged to attend both the pre-bid conference and site visit.
