Formal bids will be received from bidders by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, Attention: Yolanda Fergerson, located at 3301 Stafford Drive, Charlotte, North Carolina 28208, on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read at the time indicated for the Pavement Upgrade Project listed below. This will be a formal bidding process.

10:00 AM – Paw Creek Elementary School Pavement Upgrade Ph. II

General Scope of Work: Resurface approximately 45,000 SF of existing parking lot and replace the existing drainage structures.

All questions should be directed to the Engineer in writing at the email address indicated above.

Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for 11:00 AM on Monday, July 20, 2026, at Paw Creek Elementary School, 1300 Cathey Rd, Charlotte, NC 28214.

Attendance is Recommended.

All bidders are hereby notified that they shall be properly licensed under the state laws governing their trades.

The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids, to waive formalities, and to award the contract to another other than the low bidder, should it be deemed in the Owner’s best interest.
