Bid Detail27-001 - RFP: Build of Analytics, Platform, Dashboard, Tools and Consulting Services
End date: Monday June 15, 2026 at 2 p.m.

Bid documents and specifications will be available beginning June 1, 2026 at the Office of Procurement, or through the Citys website; www.springfieldcityhall.com. Please refer to the bid number and opening date when requesting. This Invitation for Bid is in accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 30B.

The City of Springfield acting by and through its School Department is seeking proposals for a qualified contractor to create and maintain an online analytics platform with interactive dashboards and data tools that allow Springfield Public Schools (SPS) staff to easily view student, HR, and finance data from SPS systems. The pilot group for this dashboard will be the Innovations Schools of the Springfield Public Schools (ISSPS) for creation, implementation, maintenance and support, with the option to scale to the remaining schools within SPS in year two and year three.

The term of the contract shall cover the time period between July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027. This contract shall include an option to renew for two additional one-year terms. Estimated cost for Year 1 is $50,000; Year 2: $50,000-$200,000; Year 3: 50,000-$200,000.

The proposer shall submit evidence of the following qualifications:
1.        Prequalified with Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in the state of Massachusetts in the Systems for student Success Office Experience partnering with clients in the K-12 education sector.
2.        Has worked with School Districts in the state of MA and can provide evidence of knowledge and adherence to student data privacy laws Excellent agile project management capabilities to support the scope of this RFP.
3.        Has provided evidence that has worked with other K-12 school districts in MA and designed, developed, implemented, tested, deployed, trained and onboarded, and maintained and supported similar platforms Springfield Public Schools is requesting.
4.        Minimum of 5 years experience in Data Analytics Reporting in Student Data Reporting.
