The Lanier County Board of Commissioners will receive separate, sealed bids until 10:00am (local-time), Tuesday, July 21, 2026, for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the installation of a new campground site located on Banks Lake for the county¿s Land and Water Conservation Fund Project, Grant Number: 46218 446 224. Project shall be funded from the Georgia Outdoor Stewardship Trust Fund Project and /or other local funds specified). Bids will be opened and read.

The meeting will be held at Lanier County Board of Commissioners¿ Office and will be opened to the public at the Lanier County Annex Building located at 162 West Thigpen Avenue, Suite A, Lakeland, Georgia 31635 Proposals can be mailed or delivered to the attention of Richard Hardy, County Manager for the Lanier County Board of Commissioners, 56 West Main Street, Lakeland Georgia 31635. Proposals received after the designated time will not be considered. The Lanier County Board of Commissioners may select a successful low bidder after evaluation of all bids.

There will be a Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference held at 10:00am (local-time), Tuesday, July 7, 2026. This conference will be held at the Lanier County Annex Building located at 162 West Thigpen Avenue, Suite A, Lakeland, Georgia 31635. This pre-bid conference is intended for all contractors submitting a proposal as the prime contractor. It is also highly encouraged to have all sub-contractors and product vendors present.
