| Notes | CLEARWATER ADMINISTRATION BUILDING (CAB) GENERATOR REPLACEMENT LITTLE ROCK WATER RECLAMATION AUTHORITY Bids addressed to the Little Rock Water Reclamation Commission acting by and through Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority, will be received at the Clearwater Administration Building Training Room, 11 Clearwater Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas 72204 until 10:00 am CST on December 1, 2026 and then opened and read aloud for furnishing all labor and material and performing all Work required for the Clearwater Administration Building (CAB) Generator Replacement. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be conducted at 10:00 am CST on November 17, 2026 at the Clearwater Administration Building at 11 Clearwater Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas 72204. A site walkthrough will be conducted immediately following the pre-bid meeting. The project consists of the following incidental and ancillary work: Replacement and upsizing of existing generator and ancillary related construction activities Contractor’s Bid shall be accompanied by a cashier’s check or certified check upon a national or state bank in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the total maximum Bid Price, payable without recourse to the Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority, or a Bid Bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company, as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a Contract and execute Performance and Payment Bonds within ten (10) days after Notice of Award of Contract. The Notice of Award of Contract shall be given by the Owner within sixty (60) days following the opening of Bids. All bids are subject to the conditions of Section 00200 Information for Bidders of the Contract Documents. The successful Bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond upon the forms provided each in the amount of One Hundred (100) Percent of the Contract Price from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Arkansas to act as surety, or other surety or sureties acceptable to the Owner. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President’s Executive Order 11246, as amended. The requirements for Bidders and Contractors under this order are explained in the specifications. Bidders are cautioned that Bids for this Project are subject to compliance with Arkansas Law for construction of Public Works as found in Arkansas Code Annotated 22-9-101, etc. The Bidder shall thoroughly acquaint himself and comply with the provisions of these Acts. The right is reserved, as the interest of the Owner may require, to reject any or all Bids and to waive any informality in Bids received. Bidders must be licensed in compliance with Arkansas Contractor’s Licensing Law found in Arkansas Code 17-25-101, etc. The Contract Documents, consisting of Advertisement for Bids, Information for Bidders, Bid Form, Bid Bond, Contractor’s Act of Assurance, Agreement, Performance Bond, Payment Bond, General Conditions, Drawings, Specifications, and Addenda may be examined at the following locations: Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority 11 Clearwater Drive Little Rock, AR 72204 501-688-1425 Electronic copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained by contacting Terri Potter at Brown Engineers at tpotter@brownengineers.net.
