The FAA has a has a requirement to enhance the FAA Life Cycle Analysis (FAALCAn), a web-based tool that is used to promote energy use and resource conservation for construction and maintenance of airport runways and taxiways (pavement) to result in cost-effective airfield infrastructure planning.
