These are the second round of responses to questions due Midnight May 27, 2026 after the site tour.
Question #1
For the "Potential Location" referenced in Figure 1 of the RFA:
- Have any structures previously been built in this site area, and if yes - what were the structures?
- What is the anticipated depth of rock below grade in this site area?
Answer 1 (reference RFA page 9): DOE will provide to the Selectee existing information related to the specific site. Site characterization to support activities such as licensing, permitting, construction and upgrades are the responsibility of the Selectee.
Question #2
Can the government provide any as-built information or plans relating to buildings, utilities, and/or paved roads on the INTEC site currently?
Answer 2 (reference RFA page 9): DOE will provide to the Selectee existing information related to the specific site. Site characterization to support activities such as licensing, permitting, construction and upgrades are the responsibility of the Selectee.
Question #3
Can the government provide any information relating to utilities or abandoned-in-place infrastructure that exist below the surface of the site?
