  16. Description: This requirement is for up to two (2) U.S. or foreign flag, roll-on/roll-off (RO/RO) vessel(s) (multiple awards up to two vessels or until the needs of the government have been met) with either slewing or fixed ramp, capable of transporting MV22. Vessel(s) must be capable of transporting a portion of 40,000 square feet of rolling stock and general cargo as described on the cargo list. Minimum capacity is 20,000 square feet per vessel.

  17. Place of Contract Performance: The place/range of delivery and redelivery is Naha, Okinawa, Japan. The layday commences 12 August 2026 and cancels 14 August 2026, and the charter period is about 180 days with a 180-day option period.

  18. Set-aside Status: N/A. The decision to release this procurement as “Unrestricted” is based on responses received from a recent, sources sought notice for this service.
