Gamma Engineering provides technical consulting services in civilian nuclear energy, with special focus on nuclear fuels. It develops very high temperature ceramic composites under DOE grants for use as fuel cladding in Nuclear Reactors.
A radiation resistant ceramic composite that is impermeable to fission gases, retains high strength to above 1600 C, and has a graceful failure mode like metals. Available in very small diameter tubing.
