bluestone energy services is an engineering consultant and design build firm. our goal is to reduce operating costs for our clients through energy efficiency measures that include improved controls, process improvements, replacing inefficient equipment, lighting retrofits, converting energy sources or redesigning more energy efficient hvac systems in industrial, commercial, and institutional facilities. we also provide remedial hvac design and retrofit to efficiently improve space comfort with revisions to cooling, heating and outside air systems. we have experience in monitoring and improving indoor air quality. we have also negotiated transportation gas contracts and wholesale electricity contracts for our clients. bluestone has thermal energy system experience and has designed steam supply and distribution systems for medical facilities such as massachusetts general hospital. we are in the process of developing a reverse osmosis desalinization water plant to supplement the supplies of multiple communities bluestone will provide all services in the development of projects from conception through financing and start-up.
