Burke County Emergency Management
AUTOMATIC TRANSFER SWITCH & INSTALLATION
The County of Burke is seeking sealed bids from qualified vendors for the purchase and installation of
an ASCO Automatic Transfer Switch at the Foothills Higher Education Center. Funding for this
project is being provided by a State of North Carolina Emergency Management Capacity Building
Grant, any vendor providing a bid must be eligible to receive funds from this source.
Sealed bids will be received in person, through regular postal mail, or special courier service by the
Burke County Finance Office at the addresses below:

Bids are due on or before Monday, April 21st at 02:00 pm local time. Any bid received later than the
specified date and time will not be accepted or considered.
No public bid opening will take place, bid results will be posted on the County website.
All questions should be directed by email to purchasing@burkenc.org. All questions must be submitted
by 5pm, Wednesday, April 16th.
