The County of San Mateo is accepting bids from qualified vendors to provide law enforcement gun accessories, supplies and related material. The vendor must meet the minimum requirements and should include the following:
- Account representation/point of contact
- Detailed reporting
- Delivery time of no more than three (3) business days after receipt of order (ARO).
The Procurement Division is issuing RFQ 1603 for Law Enforcement Gun Accessories and Supplies. The award shall be made in the form of a contract with a term of three (3) years. Items will be ordered on a as needed basis throughout the contract term. The contract will be written in the form of a County of San Mateo Vendor Agreement. This agreement will allow the requesting department to order the items included in the bid directly from the supplier.
The bidder shall appoint an account representative for the County as a single point of contact in order to ensure a high level of responsiveness to the County’s needs. A backup contact shall also be designated for the purposes of providing coverage during the primary contact’s absence.
The successful proposer must be able to supply the County with monthly/quarterly/yearly usage reports as requested to include but not limited to the following:
- Frequency by department
- Cost totals per department, per reporting period
- Grand total of orders
