WAYLAND COMMUNITY CENTER AUDIO AND VISUAL EQUIPMENT AND INSTALLATION

24-1023-IFB

The Town of Wayland, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids for the procurement and installation of audio and /visual equipment at the new Community Center located at 8 Andrews Avenue, Wayland, MA 01778.

Bidding procedures shall be in accordance with Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 149.

Beginning Wednesday, September 18, 2024, complete sets of bidding documents may be electronically downloaded from the Town of Wayland website at: www.wayland.ma.us/bids by selecting “24-1023-IFB WAYLAND COMMUNITY CENTER AUDIO AND VISUAL EQUIPMENT AND INSTALLATION”.

Bid documents are made available to all bidders in electronic form at no cost; bidders desiring hard copies of the Drawings and Specifications shall be solely responsible for all costs related to printing and shipping of hard copy documents.

The Town of Wayland shall receive General Bids at the Town of Wayland Town Manager’s Office, First Floor, Wayland Town Building, 41 Cochituate Road, Wayland, MA 01778 for the Wayland Community Center Audio and Video Equipment and Installation, Contract No. 24-1023-IFB, until 9:00 AM prevailing time, Friday, October 4, 2024, at which time bids will be opened and publicly read aloud. Bids submitted after this time will not be accepted.

Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this Contract.

DCAMM Certification is required for this project if Bid Price is $150,000 or greater.

5% Bid Bond is required.

The estimated cost of this project is $175,000

The Town of Wayland reserves the right to accept any bid, in whole or in part, to reject any/or all bids and to waive minor irregularities and/or informalities as it deems to be in the best interest of the Town.
