NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR
PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES
TO EVALUATE THE INTERCONNECTION AND WATER SERVICE BOUNDARY BETWEEN PORTAGE
COUNTY AND CITY OF KENT PUBLIC WATER SYSTEM IN BRIMFIELD TOWNSHIP
FOR THE PORTAGE COUNTY WATER RESOURCES DEPARTMENT
SEALED PROPOSALS will be received by the Portage County Director of Internal Services, Portage County
Administration Building, 449 South Meridian St., Ravenna, Ohio until 2:30 p.m., E.S.T. on October 2nd’ 2024
in an envelope plainly marked "PROPOSAL FOR PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES”.
Procurement of the Professional Engineering Services shall be in accordance with Section 153.65-71 of the
Ohio Revised Code.
Firms interested in proposing on this project may request the informational package about the project from
Shannon Kautzman, Interim Director of Internal Services, 449 So. Meridian St., Ravenna 44266 at (330) 297-
3611.
Successful proposer must comply with Equal Employment Requirements as specified in Executive Orders
11246 and 11375.
The Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all proposals or any part thereof.
