*Addendum 1, resulting in Round 2, is issued to add specifications for minimum hip-to-knee room spacing between seats , to update Standard Specification Item Line numbers, and to update the Specification Identification and Delivery Form..  Additionally, the addendum is issued to extend the Closing End Date, Inquiry End Date, and Pubilcation End Date.

The State is seeking to purchase a new, never titled Model Year 2023, or newer, passenger motor coach that includes a wheelchair lift. The vehicle shall have seating capacity for a minimum of 53 passengers, including 2 permanent wheelchair positions, 2 optional wheelchair locations, and driver.  The motor coach will be used to transport students for use by the Ohio Deaf and Blind Education Services.  The motor coach must be American Disability Act (ADA) compliant and assembled as a complete unit at time of delivery.    A motor coach with no restroom is preferred.

The successful bidder shall supply a vehicle which includes all of the equipment, specified in the Federal and State of Ohio regulations, necessary to provide a vehicle which is safe, complete vehicle conforming in strength, quality and workmanship to industry standard of this vehicle type, and should include any items that are not specified but necessary. The components to construct this vehicle must be latest year and model available and including the latest engineering changes. Any deviation from these specifications must be stated in writing.

Any items which normally belong on this type of vehicle and not included in the specifications, and any American Disability Act (ADA) compliant specifications either in error or not included in the specifications, are to be included by the manufacturer.
