Summary
Specific Scope of Work Technology Cabling :
1. Furnish and install 12 strand OM3 fiber to create one fiber ring. Fiber to be ran closet to closet, floor to floor with termination points in each closet. It is not a single home run to each closet.
2. Furnish and install 12 strand pigtails and coupler panels, to be installed in existing fiber enclosures.
3. Furnish and install (2) Wall mount vertical 6U racks in F building.
4. Test all fiber links.
5. Furnish (18) 2 meter fiber patch cords.
6. Furnish and install (12) 24 patch panels in 1141, re-terminate all existing cable to new panels.
7. Furnish and install (6) 24 port patch panels in 1215, re-terminate all existing cable to new panels.
8. Furnish and install (14) 24 port patch panels in 1254, and re-terminate all existing cables to new patch panels.
9. Furnish and install new wall mount fiber housing in Imagining Room.
10. Furnish and install (6) 24 port patch panels in 2111 and re-terminate all existing cables to new patch panels.
11. Furnish and install (6) 24 port patch panels in 2133 and re-terminate all existing cables to new patch panels.
12. Furnish and install (5) 24 port patch panels in 2251 and re-terminate existing cables.
13. Test and relabel all Cat cables.
14. Furnish and install (4) Vertiv GXT5-2000VA floor standing UPSs, (2) in Closet 1215 and (2) in F Building. All other closets have UPS’s and don’t need new.
15. Furnish and install (14) rack mount PDUs, (2) in each closet (4 needed in closet 1254)
16. Provide certified test reports.
17. Furnish and install (1200) 6 inch black patch cords. 18. Keep existing new wireless patch panel and cabling in each closet, relocate to new rack or new position in 2 post rack.
19. All work to be done during normal business hours. 20. Tax Exempt.
21. Non Prevailing Wages.
22. Bond excluded.
Work by Others:
1. Any electrical work.
2. Network equipment or WAPS.
3. Conduit systems, coring, any sleeves, plywood, and cable tray systems.
4. Building ground and bonding, busbars, and bonding backbone.
5. Any work not described in Specific Scope of Work listed above.
