Description of Requirement. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, material, and transportation necessary to conduct weekly inspection and maintenance of all live foliage/plants in SPoC HQ Bldg 1, Peterson SFB, CO. There are approximately 341 plants and 20 trees throughout the building. Plants are located on the atrium floor and in planters that catwalk the west atrium. The contractor shall perform weekly inspection and maintenance on all live foliage plants in SPoC B-1 as follows: Check for proper moisture level, clean and trim plants, remove debris, dead leaves and trash from soil and floor areas upon completion of maintenance, add soil/mulch to soil surface as needed to keep plants healthy, rotate plants to predominant light sources as needed, provide proper levels of plant nutrients, inspect and treat for disease or insect infestation in accordance with local, State, and Federal regulations. Water sources are available on all floors of the building.
