SUBMITTED QUESTION ATTACHED ON 04 SEP 2024

VENDOR QUESTION

  1. Attachment 3 Paving Map appears to include drawings of an additional camp area, not the Dalles campground.

    1. Was this campground to be included as part of our pricing? The pricing schedule doesn’t appear to include these quantities.

GOVERNMENT ANSWER

That additional campground has some signage needs only. A separate summary for each campground was not included but rather just totaled all of the signs for both projects. These campgrounds are only a few miles apart so there is not a huge mobilization cost.

VENDOR QUESTION

  1. The performance period states from 10/1/2024 to 11/1/2025 but contract period is 120 days

    1. What duration is correct?

    2. Can some work be accomplished in fall of 2024 or all work starting in June through October

    3. What restriction do we have from starting work in the campground outside of the stated work window.

GOVERNMENT ANSWER

We can make the performance period 10/1/2024 to 11/1/2025 so that they will have time next year to perform work in suitable weather. All work could be performed this Fall if weather is favorable. Some work can begin today, such as putting up signs, since it would not displace any pre-registered guests that would be bumped if major construction were to start outside of this window. All campgrounds typically close a few weeks after Labor Day but if weather is great, they can opt to stay open a little longer.
